Is this event is onsite or virtual?

The World Employment Conference will be purely onsite and held in Brussels, Belgium.

In which languages will the conference be held? Will there be translations?

Given the global nature of the conference and its audience, all conference sessions will be in English. At this stage, no simultaneous translation is foreseen.

How can I pay for my ticket?

Payment by credit card is processed via Stripe. 

Stripe accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express from customers worldwide.

My credit card payment failed. 

How can I arrange payment?

If you want to pay via credit card and it fails, please contact your issuing bank first. It might be that payments to Belgium are blocked for security reasons.

I want to cancel my conference ticket. 

Can my ticket be reimbursed?

All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to conference@wecglobal.org 

• Conference registration: 75% of registration fee may be refunded upon written cancellation to the Conference team before 31 January 2023. Refund will be made in April 2023.
• Payment is non-refundable as of 1 February 2023 but a name can be substituted by another one until 10 March 2023. An email should be sent to the Conference team to inform of the substitution, otherwise it will not be considered. Check out our terms and conditions for more information.

Does the Conference have a dresscode?

Yes. The dress code during the day of the Conference is business casual. 

The dress code for social events is cocktail.

Can my partner or significant other join for the WECelebrate Gala Dinner?

Where is the conference held in Brussels?

Our venue will be the DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City, Rue Gineste 3, 1210 Brussels.

What is the time zone of the event?

Both the conference and the organising secretariat are based in Brussels, Belgium.

How do I get to the hotel from Brussels airport?

You can order a cab or take the train at the airport arrival hall and stop at Gare du Nord/Brussel-Noord Station/Brussels North Station.

How do I get to the hotel from Gare du Midi/Brussel-Zuid Station/Brussels South Station?

Take the metro 3 or 4 in the direction of Gare du Nord/Brussel-Noord Station/Brussels North Station and stop at "Rogier". You will be at a three minute walk from the hotel.

What is the situation regarding COVID-19 in Belgium and Brussels?

Currently no specific documents are required for entry into Belgium. If this changes we will keep you informed.
